P003 Counter Culture - Branding for Museum Exhibition
Counter Culture is a visual identity for a conceptual exhibition series by Moving Ideas. The exhibition explores moments of cultural rebellion and resistance—highlighting how oppositional movements shape mainstream narratives over time.
This tension is reflected in the design through purposeful visual clashes: serif and sans-serif typefaces set against each other, duotone color pairings, and sharp keylines dividing space. These contrasting elements act as a graphic metaphor for the friction between dominant and alternative voices.
The identity isn’t meant to resolve the tension, but to hold it—echoing the way cultural change often emerges through disruption, contradiction, and pushback.
