P001  Segue - Architectural Brochure

Segue is a concept for a brochure commissioned by Zig, an architecture firm working with adaptive reuse. The subject is a Bauhaus-era radio station that has been converted into an apartment building, its original function stripped away, leaving only traces of its past life in the physical form.

The project explores the idea of historical abstraction. What happens to a building’s meaning when it’s pulled out of its original context? This concept is expressed through halftone textures made from the client’s archival photography. The images are transformed into abstract shapes, echoing the way repurposed architecture carries ghosted outlines of its former identity.

Rather than presenting the building as it is now, the design treats it as something in between: something layered, fragmented, and shifting.
